About me

Based in Hertfordshire, England, I'm a Business Intelligence professional with over 18 years of experience helping companies turn raw data into actionable insights. By day, I work at the enterprise level, specialising in data visualisation, analytics, and automation using the Microsoft stack (Azure, SQL, and Power BI). Essentially, I handle all the complex "under the hood" engineering so that your reports are accurate, fast, and secure.

Along the way, I realised that while large corporations have teams of people to clean and organise their data, smaller businesses are often left to struggle with messy spreadsheets and manual work. I saw that many small business owners need those same high-level insights but don't have the budget for a full-time data department.

I founded Reykholt Data Insights to bring that enterprise-grade power to the small business community. By combining my technical background with AAT bookkeeping training, I’ve created a unique hybrid service. I don't just understand code and data models; I understand Debits, Credits, and how a Balance Sheet actually works.

I provide the technical skill of a data engineer with the financial literacy of a bookkeeper.
